Immunize Nevada Welcomes Newly-Elected Officers
Immunize Nevada, statewide nonprofit widely recognized as Nevada’s trusted resource for immunizations and community health for all ages, has announced the election of key officer leadership positions to its 2016 Board of Directors. Rutu Ezhuthachan, MD, Medical Director, UnitedHealthcare was elected to serve as Chair of the Board, succeeding Doreen Begley, MS, RN, Health Coordinator, Early Head Start. In addition, Bethany Sexton, Vice President, Revenue Cycle, Renown Health, will serve as Vice-Chair; Roni Galas, RN, BSN, Division Manager, Clinical Services, Carson City Health and Human Services, was elected Secretary; and Melissa Shake, Pharm.D., Immunizations Trainer, Walgreens, was elected Treasurer.
Doreen Begley, RN Receives CDC Recognition for Contributions to Childhood Immunization
The Centers for Disease Control has named Doreen Begley, RN a CDC Childhood Immunization Champion for her outstanding efforts to promote childhood immunization throughout the state of Nevada.
