The Outreach Committee’s role is to implement strategic outreach and media efforts to reduce the number of vaccine-preventable diseases. It achieves this by:

• Promoting Immunize Nevada to the community
• Serving as a conduit for communicating with various media outlets
• Developing the Immu-News e-newsletter
• Providing oversight of marketing plans and materials
• Monitoring website content
• Coordinating social media
• Coordinating statewide campaigns and observances
• Designing and testing culturally-appropriate messages
