The Advocacy Committee promotes immunization best practices by monitoring current policies and researching effective public policy strategies. This committee identifies and advances solutions to challenges in Nevada’s vaccine financing, access and delivery system. Duties may include:
 

• Developing position statements on current issues to share with legislators
• Tracking relevant legislation/regulations that affect immunization and access to health care
• Increasing stakeholder’s capacity to be advocates
• Developing a statewide system for media advocacy
