WHO:                        Cox Communications of Las Vegas, Amerigroup, AAA, Absolute Dental, Clark County School District (CCSD), Immunize Nevada and 30 vendors

WHAT:                      The second of four Cox Back to School Fair & Shot Clinics takes place with presenting sponsor Amerigroup promoting health and wellness education for all ages. Featured sponsors include AAA with free car seat safety and battery checks. Absolute Dental is providing a limited number of school supplies. For the ninth year, Cox is partnering with CCSD who is organizing 18 booths with information on food service, bus transportation, zoning, police, human resources and more. Other vendors include Children’s Advocacy Alliance, Safekey, Nevada Highway Patrol, American Heart Association, Nevada Equal Rights Commission, Chicanos Por La Causa and many more.

A shot clinic is being offered through Immunize Nevada, Anthem Hills Pediatrics, Walgreens, WebIZ and Nevada State College. School required immunizations will be available for insured (ages 7-18) and uninsured (ages 4-18) first-come first-served while supplies last.

•         Sat., Aug 13: Meadows Mall, 4300 Meadows Ln.
•         Sat., Aug 20: The Boulevard, 3528 S. Maryland Pkwy.
•         Sat., Aug 27: Downtown Summerlin, 2025 Festival Plaza Dr.

All Cox Fair & Shot Clinics are open 10 am to 4 pm.

WHY:                         Since 2007, the annual Cox Back-to-School Fair & Shot Clinic have brought together a coalition of school and family related community agencies, organizations and nonprofits with resources designed to assist families for the new school year. Several divisions of the Clark County School District participate with up-to-date-information on food service, bus transportation, school zoning and much more.
