RENO, NEV. (August 4, 2014) – The start of the school year in Washoe County is less than a week away leaving little time for parents to get their child’s back-to-school immunizations up-to-date. Immunize Nevada and multiple community partners are hosting three clinics this week in Washoe County. There is no cost for vaccinations at any of the following events, however a $20 donation is requested to cover the cost of the vaccine. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay. Those with insurance should bring their cards.
Additional clinic information can be found at ImmunizeNevada.org/schoolclinics including opportunities for students in Carson City, Douglas County and other rural communities.
