What:
The Nevada State Health Division will offer free childhood immunizations for newborns to children up to six years old. All recommended childhood immunizations will be available. Also, a limited number of free flu vaccine will also be available from Walgreens for adults and children nine and older.
In addition other community resources will be on hand including WIC and Safe Kids to share important family resources. Families will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the flu, vaccinations, and vaccination records, as well as to learn about the state’s immunization registry, WebIZ. Parents are asked to bring their child’s immunization card for review, but are not required to do so.
Why:
State law mandates immunizations for preschool and kindergarten children .This event gives families an opportunity to update their children’s immunizations at nocost.
When:
