AmeriCorps and Immunize Nevada

Immunize Nevada's vision is for healthy communities across the state, protected from vaccine-preventable disease. From this goal, the “Healthy Futures: Reducing Immunization Disparities” project was born. Immunize Nevada partnered with AmeriCorps to implement a project that will keep Nevada's students healthy and enrolled in school to develop successful futures. This project directly connects economically disadvantaged and rural families to preventive and primary healthcare services by providing access to life-saving vaccinations and educational health resources.

The “Healthy Futures: Reducing Immunization Disparities” project is a direct service opportunity working towards improving Nevada’s immunization rates and ensuring that communities across the state are healthier and protected against vaccine-preventable disease.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this program is currently on hold. Please check back for updates.
