Call for Artists

Immunize Nevada is currently seeking artists to create exciting and imaginative, family‐friendly designs to be part of Paddles and Palettes: A Public Art Project, on exhibit during Artown at the Sparks Museum & Cultural Center.

GUIDELINES:
The artist may paint, sculpt, transform or adorn the paddle, but may not compromise its structural integrity - it must stay intact. As these paddles are upcycled, we recommend sanding them first as they may have jagged edges. Designs that are religious, political or sexual in nature are not allowed. The finished paddles will be either be displayed as a hanging piece or will be placed in a glass case. To be considered, please complete the application below no later than April 26, 2019 and submit for review.

Selected artists will receive one wooden paddle and $50 for supplies. Artists are responsible for picking up a paddle from Immunize Nevada at 427 Ridge St, Suite C, Reno, NV between April 30-May 3. Paddles must be returned completed by June 21.
