**PLEASE NOTE: Due to the content being presented, attendees will not be able to switch between the different mini general sessions. This means all attendees must choose just one general session between the CDC Pink Book Course, Media Training OR the MCH General Sessions for day 2 of the conference. If you are registered for the PINK Book Course, you MUST attend both days in order to obtain continuing education credits.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The conference reaches a number of healthcare professionals including, but not limited to: 
Physicians, nurses, pharmacists, health science students, medical assistants, public health staff, social workers, epidemiologists, health educators, program managers, child care professionals, and other persons who administer child and adult healthcare services.

Attendees wishing to obtain continuing education credits have the opportunity to earn up to 20+ hours of credit. Please see the breakdown of the hours and different credits offered below.

Day 1 - October 20 (concurrent workshops and general sessions): 6.25 hours
Day 2 - October 21 (media training OR MCH workshops): 5.75 hours
Days 2 & 3 - October 21 - 22: (CDC Pink Book Course): 14 hours

Physicians: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the University of Nevada School of Medicine and Immunize Nevada.  The University of Nevada School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education to physicians. The University of Nevada School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  
 
Certified Health Education Specialists: An application has been made to the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. Determination of credit is pending. 
 
Nurses: The University of Nevada School of Medicine approves this activity for 12.00 hours of nursing continuing education credit.
 
Pharmacists: The University of Nevada School of Medicine is a provider of continuing education credit through the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy. This program is approved for 12.00 hours of continuing education credit for pharmacists.
 
Social Workers: An application has been made to the Nevada State Board of Social Work Examiners. Determination of credit is pending.
 
Early Childhood Education: An application for Early Childhood Education units has been submitted to Nevada Registry. Determination of credit is pending.
