This is what you can make happen with a grant of $1,000 to $10,000.
A grant of $1,000 …funds 100 healthy classroom kits (sanitizer, tissue, disinfecting wipes, soap, and more) to help teachers keep their students healthy and learning throughout cold and flu season.
A grant of $2,500 …funds 10 scholarships to attend the Annual Nevada Health Conference at no-cost.
A grant of $5,000 …funds 250 back-to-school immunization vouchers for families experiencing financial challenges.
A grant of $10,000 …funds 20 influenza vaccination clinics at Title 1 elementary schools.
We are committed to closing the gap of vaccine access and affordability. We collaborate with vaccinating partners to provide immunizations at no-cost for high-risk populations such as students experiencing homeless, seniors with chronic health conditions, and uninsured children and adults.
No-cost continuing education opportunities for Nevada’s healthcare professionals is a growing need. This includes nurses, medical assistants, students, and more. Vaccine administration is a complex topic and Immunize Nevada is the leading expert in our state. We manage a multi-faceted educational program that includes monthly webinars, in-person workshops and an annual conference to ensure a fully-trained workforce across Nevada.
Ensure school-based immunization clinics remain accessible to all students and staff. Administering influenza vaccination at schools helps parents continue working, keeps children and teachers in the classroom rather than sick at home, and reduces spread of disease in the community.
