Each county in Nevada has its own COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan based on the needs of its population and how quickly it moves through priority populations. This page will be frequently updated as counties make changes to their rollout plans. If you have questions about your county's specific vaccine rollout plan, please email . Seniors specific information for Washoe County.
Seniors 65 years and older in Washoe County are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. When more vaccine doses arrive, the Washoe County Health District will start randomly selecting seniors 65+ who are on the senior COVID-19 vaccine waiting list to receive the vaccine at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. You can sign up for the waiting list by filling out this form online, or call to sign up.
Sparks Fire Department is vaccinating those 65+ living in Washoe County. Community Clinics through the Sparks Fire Department will resume mid-April, please check back for further information. Check our vaccine locator every Monday for the following week’s appointment availability.
